Vexon Audio releases ROAR โ€“ Analog-Inspired Bass Processor for Weight, Punch and Mix-Ready Low-End (VST3 & AU)

Vexon Audio has announced the release of ROAR, a modern analog-inspired bass processor designed to enhance low-end weight, punch, harmonics, articulation, and mix presence for bass guitar, synth bass, and low-frequency focused production. Designed from the perspective of both a bass player and audio developer, ROAR was created to solve one of the most common problems in modern production: achieving a bass tone that feels powerful, clear, controlled, and audible in a mix without relying on multiple plugins and complicated processing chains. ROAR combines dynamics control, harmonic enhancement, transient shaping, low-end sculpting, and parallel-style processing into a streamlined workflow-oriented interface capable of moving from subtle bass polish to aggressive modern bass tone shaping.

The processor includes four Character modes including ROUND, DEEP, GROWL, and TIGHT, each designed to reshape the behaviour, response, and tonal balance of the bass signal for different musical applications, ranging from smooth vintage warmth and deep sustained low-end to aggressive growl and tight modern punch. Harmonic Section Features Four Harmonic Modes: TUBE โ€“ smooth even-order saturation and analog warmth. TAPE โ€“ rounded transients and low-end glue.

GRIT โ€“ aggressive harmonic bite and articulation. FUZZ โ€“ heavier creative saturation and distorted bass textures. Dedicated Bass-focused Processing Controls: INPUT and OUTPUT level controls.

CONTROL for dynamic shaping and bass response management. DRIVE for analog-style coloration and saturation. HARMONICS for harmonic enhancement intensity.

TONE for shaping harmonic colour and texture. SUB for low-end reinforcement and sub enhancement. BODY for low-mid thickness and tonal density.

MUD for reducing unwanted low-mid buildup. ATTACK for transient definition and note articulation. FOCUS for improving bass clarity and mix penetration.

BLEND for parallel-style processing control. Additional Features Include: Mono Sub processing with selectable crossover modes including Off, 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz for tighter and more controlled low-frequency translation. Sidechain HPF control for cleaner and more stable low-end dynamic behaviour.

Vertical metering for Input, Output, and Gain Reduction monitoring. More than 40 factory presets covering clean bass, vintage warmth, modern rock, slap bass, aggressive growl, funk, fretless, sub-heavy tones, and mix-ready bass processing starting points. User preset save, load, overwrite, and management support.

Low CPU usage suitable for large production sessions. Support for DI bass, amp-recorded bass, synth bass, bass buses, and parallel bass processing workflows. Modern analog-inspired interface with real-time visual feedback.

Pricing & Availability ROAR is available now for ยฃ24.99 for Windows and macOS in VST3, AU, and Standalone formats.
