Kobito releases ResSup Dynamic Resonance Suppressor Plugin (VST3 & AU)

Kobito has released ResSup, a lightweight dynamic resonance suppressor designed to reduce harshness, ringing, and unwanted resonances in a natural sounding way. Instead of statically EQing the whole sound, ResSup automatically detects frequencies that stick out too much, and gently suppresses them in real time. Useful for: Vocals.

Cymbals. Piano. Guitars.

Synths. Live recordings. Mix buses.

Why Use It? In a mix, small harsh resonances accumulate. A single track may sound fine on its own, but across 10, 15, or 20 tracks, those tiny harsh frequencies can build up and make the final mix: Tiring.

Sharp. Muddy. Difficult to listen to loudly.

ResSup helps smooth those unwanted resonances while preserving the natural character of the source. Designed To Be Lightweight ResSup was designed to be efficient enough to use across many tracks in a session. Low CPU usage and low friction workflow were priorities from the beginning.

Main Features Dynamic resonance suppression. Multiple suppression bands. Bell, Band-Pass, Low and High Cut, and Low and High Shelf modes.

Delta monitoring. Per-band delta and solo monitoring. Spectral Attack and Release control (per-frequency response timing).

Transient Protect for preserving punch and transients. Harmonic Preserve. Lightweight CPU usage.

Stereo support, Stereo Link control. M/S mode. External sidechain support.

Pricing & Availability ResSup is available for macOS and Windows in VST3 and AU plugin formats for the introductory price of $29 (Reg. $49).
