20 New Songs Out Today

So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day.
We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place. LILY ALLEN – “BEG FOR ME (JADE REMIX)” Just ahead of her performance at Mighty Hoopla, Lily Allen has shared this new remix of her “Beg For Me” (from her great 2025 album West End Girl) by Jade.
— WILLOW – “TALK ON THE HILL” WILLOW announced a new album, The Thread, due out July 24 via Three Six Zero Recordings. NEw single “Talk on the Hill” is inspired by “The Telepathy Tapes” podcast, and WILLOW says, “I want to thank Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell and Ky Dickens for their extraordinary bravery in studying and documenting the quiet teachers whose gifts stand at the threshold of mysteries our culture has barely begun to contemplate.
” — BLOOD ORANGE – “ESSEX_HONEY.MP3” Blood Orange released new album Essex Honey earlier this year and now he’s just dropped what would’ve been the title track if it had actually appeared on the album. “ESSEX_HONEY.
MP3” features a sample of Sky Ferreira’s “Everything is Embarrassing” which he produced. — TOM MORELLO – “ADJOURN IT” (FT. SERJ TANKIAN & ROMAN MORELLO) Following the announcement of his Power to the People festival, Tom Morello has shared a new single featuring his son Roman and Serj Tankian of System of a Down.
“At this historical juncture every act of art is an act of resistance and ‘Adjourn It,’ a collaboration with long time friend Serj Tankian and my 15 year old guitar wiz son Roman Morello, is a clarion call for justice in unjust times,” Tom says. “Produced by Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Yungblud, Aerosmith) this latest tune from my upcoming solo album combines multi-generational Morello bulldozer riffs with the great Serj Tankian’s prophetic wailings. Inspired by the persecution of immigrants across the land and the heroic resistance to the rising tide of fascism it’s just about damn time to rock for freedom, justice and equality.
” — JOSEPH (CH) – “B4U” Swiss DJ and producer JOSEPH (CH) has signed to DJ Koze’s Pampa Records and released his first single for the label. “Since I took pause from MR 6 years ago I’ve had three children,” she writes. “THREE! I jumped into a completely new paradigm.
There were downloads. One being a perpetual underlying Knowing that this is all passing away, and when you have kids that Knowing becomes visceral and you really have to learn how to ground yourself and orientate around gratitude or you will slowly lose your sanity to death fright. 2020 human behaviors taught me that too and it’s why I wrote this song.
I’m sorry btw in advance for sounding so harsh and angry, it’s because at the time I was harsh and angry. Death sucks and fear sucks and cowards suck worse, especially when the coward is me!” — GOLD PANDA – “DING THE MOTOR” DJ and producer Gold Panda is back with new album TON UP which will be out June 26.
He describes the album as “eight rough-hewn dance tracks and two cozy little service-station interludes,” and you can hear “Ding the Motor” now. — ARIANA GRANDE – “HATE THAT I MADE YOU LOVE ME” Ariana Grande has given us a first taste of her new album Petal, which arrives on July 31 via Republic. She co-wrote and produced “Hate That I Made You Love Me” with Ilya and Max Martin.
— KAITLIN BUTTS – “NEVER REALLY MINE” “At a festival in Austin, my husband and I were walking through the crowd to get backstage, and someone essentially catcalled my husband as I was holding his hand,” Kaitlin Butts says. “It actually made me laugh out loud because she was right – he is ‘foiinneeee,’ When we got backstage, my friend Fernando asked me if that ever bothered me, and I said, ‘a man that can be taken from me was never really mine.’ I thought about how much I wish other women felt that way and that they had that same security as I do.
He doesn’t have a wandering eye, and if someone ever took his attention away, I wouldn’t be tugging at him to stay with me. I would want him to go on and get her.” She co-wrote her new single “Never Really Mine” with Lola Kirke and Maggie Antone.

ALLIGATOR” Joe Newman of alt-J has given us another preview of his debut solo album with “Mr. Alligator.” He says, “The path of a Preacher.
The rise of a Predator.
